2009 Kansas USSSA U17/18 Champions

Blue Valley Predators is a youth soccer team affiliated with The Blue Valley Soccer Club and Heartland Soccer Association in the Kansas City area.

Predators will compete in Premier Division at Heartland during the Spring 2010 Season.

Our Goals and Objectives:

The Blue Valley Predators team is dedicated to provide a positive and fun athletic environment in which the spirit, skills and discipline of soccer can be taught.

We believe that soccer is a vehicle that enables our players to develop self-confidence, sportsmanship, self-discipline, responsibility and a sense of teamwork that will help them to become successful human beings who will make a positive contribution to society.

It is important to us that we maintain our focus as an organization on providing a program that firstly develops quality individuals and secondly develops quality soccer players.

The team will strive to provide the best coaches, fields, equipment and instructional expertise to achieve both personal fulfillment and success for our team.

Players are encouraged to focus on attitude, athletic ability, technical competence, tactical awareness, fitness plus dedication and commitment to competitive soccer.

Our emphasis as a team, is on the development of fundamental skills. This is the foundation from which players can reach their full potential in the game of soccer.

We play possession soccer versus "kick and chase soccer" commonly seen in youth games. Kick and chase soccer may produce more "wins" in younger years, but it does little to prepare player at top competitive levels.

While we do recognize that winning is important, having fun and long term player development comes first.

We also believe that non-talent disciplines such as hustle and teamwork can also help us accomplish great things as a soccer club.

We will provide effective, consistent instruction, which offers every tool necessary for each individual to be a success not only in soccer, but also in everyday life.
