2009 USA Indoor Championship
Based on our
tournament success during Spring 2008 season we were
invited to play the division 2 finals of The 2009
National Indoor Championship at Vetta Sports in
St. Louis
Missouri, January 17th-18th 2009.
The tournament was held in conjunction with the NSCAA College Coaches
Convention. With nearly 1,000 college coaches attending the
convention this
was probably the biggest College Showcase Tournament of the year.
There were several college coaches who attended each of our
games to scout talent for their teams.
Teams from
Kentucky,
Michigan,
Wisconsin,
Iowa,
Kansas,
Illinois,
Nebraska,
Missouri, Ohio, Maryland, Massachusetts
, Indiana and
Virginia
qualified to participate in the finals.
The tournament had
divisions for both boys and girls teams ages U16, U17, U18 & U19.
This was the 15th
year of the event.

We certainly enjoyed the weekend in St Louis.
It was a super opportunity for me get to know players and
parents and to see you an action.
I liked what I saw during the games. You
worked well together. The biggest asset we have is that our
players have heart and never give up, even when the going
gets really tough. You proved that several times throughout
the tournament. Very impressive.
Lots of work to do but we have the basis to
build an outstanding team this year.
We have a great group of guys. I am really
excited to be working with you.
