A scrimmage with arch-rivals Scorpions prior to the Wizards - Dallas Burn game ended in a 1-1 tie.

Our boys played with great intensity and controlled the ball for the majority of the game.

This was an excellent team effort, especially when considering:

* During the several seasons Scorpions played in our division they always held an edge at the end of a game.

* Scorpions moved up to Premier this year and will finish the season in the top 3 or 4 in division.

* Earlier in the day Scorpions had beaten the top Avellino Flash by a 3-0 margin.

The boys should be very proud of this performance. All their hard work conditioning and improving soccer skills this season is paying dividends.
