Tony Meola

When you have the opportunity to learn from the very best you grab it.

Our Goalkeeper Coach is legendary US Keeper Tony Meola. Tony was crowd favorite when he played in Kansas City. He represented USA in 100 international games before finishing his career with New York Red Bulls.

Each week Derek joins Tony and a select group of youth goalkeepers for specialized training to improve their skills and effectiveness in goal. The boys play on local premier and high school teams. Three are on Kansas ODP squads, and one made his US team for his age group last year.

Tony is assisted by rookie KC  Wizards goalkeeper Chris Konopka who had an outstanding college career before being drafted by The Wizards.

The workouts are very demanding and at times get quite physical.
