Health Policy
Important - Please Note:
During out training/practice sessions the
boys will be constantly challenged physically to improve
their fitness, endurance, speed and skills level.
This will be a new experience for the vast
majority of our team and may require serious attitude
adjustments on their part.
If you have any concerns regarding the health
of your child please schedule a thorough physical with your
doctor.
After consultation with the BVSC we are
implementing the following guidelines and procedures to
ensure the physical wellbeing of all team members and the
interests of BVSC and our Coaches.
Any boy who exhibits signs of distress
during practice or games will be removed from the activity
and given ample time to recover and regroup.
In most cases a few minutes rest results
in full recovery and he will be ready to rejoin the
activities.
He will then report to the Head Coach, Skills
Trainer and/or Team Manager for evaluation
prior to rejoining the activities.
If they feel
there are any doubts regarding his full recovery and ability
to safely resume practice he will not be permitted to do so
and the parents will be notified.
We will require a doctors note giving
approval for the boy to resume the level of physical
activity expected with soccer before he may rejoin team
practices and games.
Also - Any child who sustains an injury
during games or practice that requires medical attention
will require a doctors note to resume normal practice and
participate in games with our team.
