Jose Luis Burciaga Jr.
POSITION: Defender
HEIGHT: 6-1
WEIGHT:166
BIRTHDATE: November 16, 1981
HOMETOWN: Duncanville, TX

Jose was an excellent
role model for our boys. He is an excellent example of what
can be achieved in the world of soccer with skill, hard work
and dedication.
Born in Dallas Texas Jose
was one of the first MLS players to be drafted by an MLS
straight out of high school at 19 years of age. He was
drafted by the Wizards in 2001 as a P-40, a special player
development designation which assured him a place on the KC
Roster for 4 years, and an educational scholarship so he can
earn a college degree when his playing days are over.
The Predators improved
their soccer skills dramatically while working with Jose.
