Legends Showcase Tournament - Lee's Summit - July 12-13

We registered a team for Legends College Showcase but still need more players.

We are counting on the fact that several players are out of town and will not respond until they return.

Players please Confirm Here if you are available to play.

Tryouts for 2009 Season

Under KSYSA Tryouts for all Premier Teams are scheduled between June 14 - July 15.

Our Next Tryouts will be held:

Tuesday June 17 6pm - 7:30pm at Harmony Middle School - Football Field

Saturday June 21 10am- Noon at Harmony Middle School - Football Field

All players who plan to return for 2009 Spring Season please email so we know how many Roster spots we will have open. These players have confirmed

Check with your soccer buddies to see who wants to join us and bring them along.

There are several teams we played in recent season that will be in D4 next year. I am sure there are good players on those teams that would like the chance to play in D2.

Just like last year..... There will be a reward for everyone who introduces a new player that makes our 2009 Roster.

Important: All current players will be expected at tryouts. If you will be out of town on these dates or cannot tryout because of an injury please email and request a separate workout.

Soccer Technique Olympics

During Tryouts and Summer Team workouts we will challenge all players to improve their individual soccer skills and techniques using drills Coach Anson Dorrance worked with his players at University of North Carolina to produce 19 National Championships in just 26 years.

At the end of summer there will be special rewards for the players who lead in each category.

Summer Team

Our summer team is a composite team of U16 and U15 players from local high schools who play on several different teams during the club season and players from state ODP team squads.

We plan to play several College Showcase Tournaments in Kansas and surrounding states.

Our Practice Schedule is now finalized

It's a lot of fun... and a great way to keep in shape for the high school season.

Kansas Showcase Tournament - Topeka - June 28-29

Showcase Tournaments provide a unique opportunity for players with goals to play soccer in college to showcase their talents to College coaches from the NCAA, NAIA and Junior Colleges who will attend the event to recruit players. 

This is the first Kansas Showcase and is sure to draw College Coaches from all over the country.

A profile on all tournament players is provided to the coaches

Liverpool Qualifies For National Finals

As Kansas USSSA U16 Championship Runner-Up we have been invited to represent Kansas at the USSSA National Championship Tournament in Las Vegas, December 5-7.

This is a reward for all the hard work our players have put in this season.

It is a great honor to represent our State, and a super opportunity for us to play in a major national tournament.

USSSA officials met with City of Las Vegas representatives this week and will announce tournament details soon.

We will need to appoint a Fund-Raising Committee to help defray costs for this trip.

Watch for more details coming soon.

Liverpool - USSSA Kansas Championship Runner Up.

Congratulations to Liverpool and our three guest players on an outstanding effort to make it through to the Championship game as the only undefeated team in pool play.

It was tough to lose the final 1-0 in such a physical hard fought game but certainly an effort everyone can be proud of.

You guys have come a long way this year.

Patriot Cup Tournament Champions

Congratulations to all members of our team that won the U16/17 Division Championship at The Legends Patriot's Cup Tournament in Lee's Summit.

If you still have a  gold/black jersey we used as Liverpool conflicts bring it to the game this weekend.
